I'm really bored with the sky is falling. Read the numbers and you'll see, if you actually read the numbers that some markets are down but some markets including Los Angeles had over 125% equity growth over the last 5 years. Get a grip people! Sales volume is down for alot of reasons but the final sales prices in many cities including Los Angeles are actually up in several areas.

People have been out in droves over the Pre-Mother's day weekends. We had 50 groups of people come through one of our listing and it was in Escrow in 4 days. The market drives the conditions and folks still need homes every day for all kinds of reasons.

If you believe 60 Minutes we all do nothing for you and charge exorbitant commissions. There are bad apples in every business. We spend alot of time trying distinguish ourselves from the lesser elements in our business. The Good agents spend at least nine hours working behind the scene for every hour spent with their client at a minimum. We're running an independent business here and we don't get paid unless you feel like you've been treated well and the process has gone smoothly. Are there people in this business out there that make us all look bad, absolutely, but I know you know the difference between quality customer service and lack there of.  If this job was easy, I wouldn't be secretly writing this to you now and managing several deals while on vacation. (supposedly) If Linda catches me I'm dead.

Work ethic is everything in business and it's no different in journalism, or any other profession. It's hard to tell the whole story in 8-12 minutes and not appear biased but do your homework. There is much more to this process than discounts fees and the internet. I get how important the internet is to the process or you wouldn't be reading this now. My clients are smart, savvy, and do their home work.
